Buck Institute for Age Research

8001 Redwood Blvd, Novato

A new three-story, 65,000 square foot, warm core and shell addition was built as an attachment to the south end of the Institute's existing Building 4. The addition is a buckle-resistant brace frame, steel structure with a basement, with a building exterior featuring a combination of precast material and natural travertine tiles. The project was performed through a joint venture with Otto Construction (Sacramento, CA).

"We are making good use of the building and appreciate your efforts on our behalf. ...The project was a new relationship with a tight time frame and budget. Cahill became a partner for success and will be on every future bid list in which I participate.”
