Buena Vista Terrace

1250 Haight Street, San Francisco

Buena Vista Terrace was an adaptive reuse of an abandoned church in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. The project included a seismic upgrade and renovation/conversion of the existing church into a new four-story senior housing facility. The existing exterior walls and roof structure remained and were strengthened, while the interior was completely gutted to create new floor space for 40 units of housing.
