Curran House

145 Taylor Street, San Francisco

Curran House is a 9-story building providing 67-units of affordable housing for families and two levels of office and retail space in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood. The building was constructed using concrete post-tensioned slabs. In addition to a rooftop garden, David Baker+Partners designed a “decompression” garden at the entrance of the building; as visitors and residents enter through this area, they see through the building to a landscaped area in the rear of the building.
