De La Salle High School - STREAM Building
Construction of a new 3-story (PT slabs with shotcrete walls and framed exterior, brick/plaster cladded walls). The STREAM (science, technology, robotics, engineering, arts and math) center has 12 new classrooms with ancillary rooms of approximately 30,000 square feet. Work required the removal of existing temporary / modular buildings, substantial landscaping (with both softscape and hardscape features), and the construction of a 4,000 square foot single story maintenance (facility) building comprised of facility offices and 5 automobile bays. New STREAM center utilized hydronic heating / cooling in all 3 floor slabs and roof slab as well as an exterior mounted, computer controlled sun-screen for the east elevation.
