Edith Witt Senior Community
Edith Witt Senior Community is a new construction of 107 apartments for very low income seniors (ages 62 or better) in an 11-story building. The design of the building includes secure open space, a large multi-purpose room, health clinic, smaller activity rooms, property management offices, and parking. The building is a type I, post tensioned concrete building with a glass fiber reinforced concrete exterior skin. The San Francisco Redevelopment Agency oversaw a successful local hiring program and Cahill self-performed all concrete work.
