Hilton San Francisco Financial District

750 Kearny Street, San Francisco

Conversion from Chinatown Holiday Inn (2005)

This was a negotiated, fast track conversion of the existing Chinatown Holiday Inn (originally built by Cahill) into a Hilton Hotel. Complete demolition, abatement and remodel were performed on the lobby, meeting rooms, ballroom and common areas on floors 1 – 4.  A new restaurant, bar and kitchen were built on the lobby level, and the existing kitchen on the 2nd level was upgraded.  Cahill installed a new main entry storefront, sitework, landscaping and porte cochere lighting and finishes.  A glazed enclosure of existing balconies on the first floor created new interior space.  Finally, the project included new back of house and building operations spaces and a design/build overhaul of life safety, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler, electrical, tele/data, security and AV systems.

Honors Lounge & Buffet Tenant Improvement

Cahill returned to the Hilton Financial District in 2011 to perform demolition, abatement, and remodel of the 26th Floor Honors Lounge and first floor buffet spaces.  This work included design-build plumbing, electrical, life safety, and fire sprinkler upgrades.
