The Jewish Community Center project entailed demolition and replacement of the existing Jewish Community Center building. The new 3-story facility includes two pools, saunas, weight and fitness rooms, a gymnasium, a restaurant (shell), a theatre, multipurpose rooms and office space. There are 3 levels of underground parking (approximately 80,000 s.f.) and 150,000 s.f. of program area, including two roof courtyards. The structure consists of cast-in-place concrete framing below grade and a combination of structural steel and cast-in-place concrete above grade. The exterior cladding is composed of curtain walls, metal panels, Jerusalem stone, brick masonry and stucco. The building has a large central skylight over the lobby/atrium space. The project also included a $1M T.I. fit out of an Early Childhood Education space.
