Lion Creek Crossings

875 69th Avenue, Oakland

This project was a 22 acre development that replaced the 1964 Oakland Housing Authority community known as Coliseum Gardens (San Antonio Village). It was built in 4 phases of 3 story wood framed townhouse style units, as well as 2 larger wood framed structures over concrete podium parking. The project added 375 apartments (studio and 1-4 bedrooms), 32 first-time homeowner units, a 5 acre park, a restored creek, new city streets and infrastructure, and 15,000 s.f. of social services space to the East Oakland area.

Cahill self-performed the majority of both concrete and wood framing work on this project.
